Stage 33 Live runs on donations and volunteers. All ticket money goes to the performers. Donations help cover the costs of things like insurance, equipment maintenance, improvements, and like-that. We squeeze every penny, and we’d be so happy to squeeze yours.
Or if you want to earmark a donation for the Performer Guarantee Fund, that’s also a thing. We like the performers to get paid something at least approaching the lowest recommended scale for the smallest venues in the worst markets as recommended by the Traveling Musicians Union, but when turnout is small the money falls short. The performers get paid less. Touring performers with expenses like gas and food and lodging can end up losing money. Just let us know if you want your contribution to go to the Performer Guarantee Fund.
