Second-Saturday Synthfest Series at Stage 33 Live

The Second-Saturday Synthfest Series at Stage 33 Live celebrates synthesizer performance, circuit-bending, and sound manipulation. Series dates are January 11, February 8, March 14, and April 11 at 7:00 PM, 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls. $5 suggested donation at the door. BELLOWS FALLS — An electronic music performance series celebrating synthesizers, circuit-bending, and sound manipulation takes place on the second Saturdays of January through April at Stage 33 Live in Bellows Falls. Each session hosts up to five acts for individual performances followed by a collective improvisation. Players will be in the center of the room, with the audience in the round. The music is expected to range from cinematic and lush to computeresque and urgent.

Series dates are January 11, February 8, March 14, and April 11, 7:00 PM at Stage 33 Live, 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, Vermont. Suggested $5 donation at the door.

Stage 33 Live is an intimate, industrial-rustic listening room in a former factory located at 33 Bridge Street in Bellows Falls, VT, documenting live performances and presentations of original material. FOR PERFORMERS:
Slots are first come, first served, up to five performers per date. It’s fine to sign up for more than one. RSVP to stage33@stage33live.com

All styles and any controllers are welcome. Players will set up in a clump in the center of the room. Each act will play a solo performance, followed by a freeform collective improvisation.

Stage 33 Live will provide power and house sound, but performers need to bring everything else they need… stands, power strips, etc. One stereo or mono send for sound reinforcement and recording is needed. There will also be cameras rolling.

Projection artists are also welcome; content must be broadcast-safe / rated PG / with no copyrighted content. Light shows are eligible too. One projection artist or team per date, first come, first served. RSVP to stage33@stage33live.com

Traditional painters and artists are welcome to set up a canvas and paint as moved by the music. There is room for multiple artists. RSVP to stage33@stage33live.com
